Index are the data organizing mechanism which are similar to the database of relational database system.

Item Mapper

A Mapper serves as a system that links a recommender key to a corresponding key in a data source. This setup ensures that a solution is capable of interpreting data from any given source, thereby facilitating the extraction of meaningful intelligence.

Re-index

Re-indexing refers to the process whereby documents are duplicated from one index to another. This procedure can include filtering source documents based on a particular query and gathering documents from a remote cluster. Re-indexing allows you to alter the settings and mappings of the destination index.

Index Settings

Index settings are one of the index modules created per index and control all aspects of the index.

Index Mappings

Index mapping is the process of defining how a document and the fields it contained are sorted and indexed.
